Well, I am just trying this because everyone else in the world has one. They are fun to read but I don't think I want everyone to know every detail about my life.

Well, you never know; if your life is interesting enough then you will have no end of people interested in reading about it. Even if the details are not intrinsically interesting in and of themselves, you can always make them interesting by giving the reader a fresh take on what may otherwise seem like fairly mundane activities.
